AMY SOLOWAY Diamond tooth gertie

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Amy is a vocalist, stage performer, writer, director, and producer. She is perhaps best known in the Yukon as the longest running Diamond Tooth Gertie, having played the role for over fourteen seasons.

In addition to portraying Gertie, Amy has sung all over the globe. She performed her self- written and self-produced one-woman show “Divas” in the US and Canada, and the accompanying album of the same name.

In 2023, Amy wrote, directed, performed in, and co-produced a dinner theatre written specifically for Dawsonites, for which she received an Advanced Artist Award for writing from the Yukon Government.

Amy is now a proud Yukoner and has been living in Dawson City full-time for six years with her partner Dave and their cat Oiler.

GREG MURDOCH MAXIMILIaN SUMMER

Greg Murdoch is a professional actor and singer born and raised in Whitehorse. Greg grew up backstage at his family’s business, the Frantic Follies. At ten, he started performing small roles and selling programs, and his role in the show progressively grew over the next 6 years until their eventual closure in 2016.

Greg then pursued theatre into high school and college, receiving an Applied Performing Arts Diploma from the Canadian College of Performing Arts. After graduating he went to Toronto and performed in Canada’s Wonderland’s Winterfest show “Cool Yule”.

For the last two years Greg has been living in Whitehorse and doing local theatre, and is looking forward to diving back into his Vaudevillian roots.

Other credits include: Jack in Newsies (YTYP), Gaston in Beauty and the Beast (VOS Theatre), Trevor the Dog in Dogtown the Musical (Yukon Circus Society), Mustard in Mustard (Guild Hall), Mischa in Ride the Cyclone (Guild Hall), and Sir Galahad in Spamalot (Guild Hall).

Jennifer gibbs-reiLly swing gertie / maggie

Jennifer is a passionate performer hailing from Brampton, Ontario. She has trained with Brampton School of Dance, Centennial College Dance Performance Program and Mission Vision Purpose Academy, to name a few.

Since dancing at Diamond Tooth Gertie’s in 2022 and 2023, Jennifer has performed at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup Opening Ceremony, and tuned in to her musical theatre side, with credits including Rent (Mimi) and Cabaret (Texas). Jennifer has also dipped her toes into choreography, both in dance studios and for Brampton Music Theatres 2025 Mainstage productions (Beautiful; The Carole King Musical, and The Prince of Egypt).

Jennifer fell in love with Diamond Tooth Gertie’s on the first day she arrived in the town and feels Dawson City is the most wonderful community she has ever known. She is so grateful for the chance to bring the joy she always feels performing at Gertie’s to the many visitors who also inevitably fall in love with Dawson City.

FRED OSSON SWING MAXIMILIaN

Fred Osson is a musician and teller of stories based in Dawson City, where he has lived these past 25 years performing live in bands across the Yukon. This production marks his first theatrical role, and he's thrilled to join this fabulous Gertie’s cast!

lexie braden dance captain / GRG

Lexie Braden is a performance and visual artist based in Dawson City, Yukon. After completing a BFAH from Queens University in oil painting and sculpture she performed as a dancer/ Dance Captain for three seasons on the Diamond Tooth Gertie’s stage.

Lexie received her BFAH from the Queen's University Visual Arts programme and has since performed or exhibited her work in Whitehorse, Dawson City, Tombstone Territorial Park, Kingston ON, and Brattleboro VT.

Lexie trained at the New England Centre for Circus Arts in 2022 and has since performed aerial hoop at various Yukon events.

FRANNY MILNER PEGGY

Franny is a dedicated triple threat performer from Peterborough, Ontario. Growing up she was involved in many theatre productions, competitive dance and was a part of the Integrated Arts Program at her high school where she majored in Dance.

For post secondary, Franny attended Randolph College for the Performing Arts where she honed her skills as a dancer, singer and actor. Franny spent the summer of 2023 in Dawson City, Yukon as a Gold Rush Girl as well as performing as Swing Gertie. It was truly a life changing summer for her where she made connections in the town that stay close to her heart to this day.

Since then, she has been involved in multiple musical theatre productions in the city of Toronto and is currently dancing with Tonalli Dance Productions.

Paige (they/she) is a queer emerging artist originally from Timmins ON - which falls under Treaty 9 territory. A recent graduate of St Clair College's Music Theatre Performance program, they are thrilled to be performing with the Diamond Tooth Gerties!

They are passionate about challenging oppressive systems within the entertainment industry, and creating art that leaves others feeling seen, inspired and connected. Paige cannot wait to meet and dance with you all in Dawson City!!! BISOUS

KYLEE DONNA NELLIE

Kylee Donna (she/they) is a proudly raised Yukoner, dancer, teacher, choreographer and certified goof.

She fell in love with Dawson City, the town and the people, early into her adult life and believes the universe works in magical ways, always pulling them back for more fun and memories in the community.

They have the deepest passion for the arts and performing and cannot wait to be a part of such a staple Yukon show, for their second season as a Goldrush Girl. Her heart runneth over to be placed within a cast that feels like family, and they cannot wait to see you out this season!

kaitlind gorman swing dancer / grg

Kaitlind is originally from Pembroke Ontario and is a graduate of the Dance Performance Preparation Program from George Brown College. She is a dancer first performer and is a current member of Breakaway Entertainment and Vintage Taps.

Around her performing Kaitlind teaches and cherishes the opportunity to share and grow the love of dance with her students. Kaitlind is fully certified in the ADAPT syllabus in both tap and jazz and continues to grow her knowledge across as many dance styles as possible.

ROBERT WILKINSON BANDLEADER / KEY PIANIST

Robertx (they/them) is thrilled to be back tickling the ivories at Diamond Tooth Gertie’s for another summer.

Their career as a Pianist, Music Director, Orchestrator and Arts Educator has taken them across Canada (Yukon, Ontario, Newfoundland) and around the world (England, Scotland, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, India and United States).

They have also worked extensively as an arts educator, from an elementary school in Yellowknife to college programs in Canada and India. Robert has a specific interest in music and theatre history of the last 150 years, making their time in Dawson especially exciting!

SEBASTIAN DEVEAU MAIN DRUMMER

Hailing from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Sebastian has been a fixture in the music scene from the east coast to the sub-arctic, having played drums since he was a child. His music education at St. Francis Xavier University taught him many musical styles, with a focus on Jazz. Sebastian has also been formally trained in creating drum/percussion charts and using music notation software.

Sebastian has played with many musical ensembles and bands, from Classical to Metal. He held the main drum chair at Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Gambling Hall for four seasons. There he was able to provide cutting-edge electronic drum sounds, acquiring and providing the most period-correct samples for the shows.

Seb lives in beautiful Nova Scotia with his beloved cat Ducky.

floriane gerard swing pianist

Belgian born Floriane Gérard has over 20 years of experience studying and performing as a pianist. With a master’s degree in Piano under the direction of the pianist Rosella Clini, she took part in various Piano Master Classes across Europe and was a piano and music teacher in Belgium.

Now calling Dawson home, she enjoys a life of adventure, full of snow, music, and splitting wood. Floriane loved working at Gerties, first as stagehand in 2024 and then main chair pianist in 2025. She's looking forward to the new adventures set to come.

STEPHEN GALLANT SWING DRUMMER

Stephen Gallant is a multi-instrumentalist originally from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Acadia University in 2013, concentrating on Classical Percussion & Drumming. Stephen has since honed a variety of musical skills, focusing primarily on piano, guitar, drums, and voice.

Being an alumnus of the Can Can show, Stephen is no stranger to the Diamond Tooth Gerties stage. From 2013-2022, he performed as the swing-musician (piano & drums) and swing male-lead, as well as Musically Directing the show from 2014-2022 with Dynamite Stage Productions. Since his “retirement” in 2022, he has been enjoying exploring his craft purely as a hobby. But he is ready to hit the stage again!

You may also find Stephen at the Dawson City Medical Clinic, where he is currently the Clinic Supervisor (he didn’t see that coming, either!). Otherwise, he is likely at home snuggling with his cat, Rooster.
